Level 3 Qualification is designed for candidates who have undertaken counselling skills training, e.g. our Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills or equivalent.
The course is designed for anyone who wants to learn about themselves and how to help others effectively, no matter how much or how little previous knowledge and experience they have. It is a reflective course, interactive and personal, using both practical methods and theory.
This course consists of a minimum of 90 guided learning hours and looks at how we can listen to and understand others better and help them to work towards their goals in life. There are thirty sessions each of three hours that may be offered in a number of formats, for example three sessions on a long Saturday once a month for ten months or twice a month for five months, or one evening a week for thirty weeks. How we offer the course will vary from centre to centre.

Image’s Christian pregnancy counselling skills course aims to explore the basic counselling skills and information areas needed to support people facing pregnancy, abortion, and decision-making. Its purpose is to provide a foundation for Christians working, or seeking to work, in pregnancy centres, community based church projects and related areas of ministry. The course is accompanied by a training manual which will be a valuable resource for individuals, churches, and centres.
This diploma is intended for qualified therapists and counsellors, or those who have already completed our diploma level 5 training in integrative play and creative therapy.

Our Diploma in Counselling Supervision is a short programme that will equip you with the skills, knowledge and professional development you need to advancing your counselling career whilst being a benefit to others. Together with expert practitioners, you will look at subjects like the roles, responsibilities and complexities of supervision; the ethical and legal responsibilities; and more. Allowing you to study around your current commitments, the programme is delivered over 4 training blocks of 3 days each, across 4 months.
Over the years, there has been resistance by some within the counselling profession to any notion of the concept of integrating Christian faith/religion/spirituality with the practice of counselling/psychotherapy. This programme therefore aims to provide attendees with a firm foundation and framework as to how to ethically, professionally, and competently integrate Christian faith/ religion/spirituality into their personal philosophy and practice of counselling/ psychotherapy. This programme is taught over three days, 9.30am-5.30pm. Delegates will receive a Waverley Certificate in integrating Christian faith, religion, spirituality with counselling and psychotherapy. The certificate will also confirm you have undertaken 18 hours of Continual Professional Development (CPD).
Our Level 2 Award in Introduction to Christian Counselling is an accredited CPCAB tailor-made course, providing a foundational understanding into the whole area of counselling. It will increase understanding of how people function, why things go wrong, and help improve student’s interpersonal skills in all areas of life. It is therefore ideally suited to those involved in various supporting, helping and caring roles, or anyone involved in pastoral aspects of church life as well as those wishing to begin training to become a professional counsellor.
